Do you do custom work?

I welcome custom work and modifications on sizing and color options of my current line. Just drop me a line at mary at!

Where did you learn how to work with leather?

I am mostly self taught. I read books on traditional leather working, hand-stitching methods, and leather lacing for cowboys and saddle makers. I watch tons of videos on Youtube and often find myself in a Youtube black hole hours later. I've also attended workshops, the most recent one lead by Bea Amblard, an artisan leather worker who worked with Hermès for 20 years. It was an incredible experience in precision and patience.

Where are you from?

I am originally from a small town in Pennsylvania but have lived in NYC for over 15 years. I don't think i'll ever leave!

Do you make other things?

Yes! I also make clothes and am currently working on a line of what I call nightgown dresses. They're soo comfortable and can be worn in so many different ways. I'm super into minimal but functional dress shapes. I also enjoy a good knitting project in the winter months. I find it very relaxing.
